Heather Stansbury was born in Baltimore, Maryland. After attending Towson University for college, Ms. Stansbury graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2004. Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Stansbury served as the judicial law clerk for the Honorable Joseph F. Murphy, Chief Judge of the Maryland Court of Special Appeals from 2004 to 2005. In 2005, Ms. Stansbury relocated to the Ocean City area and joined the law firm of Ayres, Jenkins, Gordy & Almand, P.A.
Ms. Stansbury focuses her practice in the area of family law (which includes custody, divorce, child support, CINA cases) and criminal law. Ms. Stansbury also practices in the area of civil litigation, both trial and appellate, and engages in Will preparation.
Ms. Stansbury is a volunteer attorney at the Worcester County Pro Se Family Law Clinic and serves as a member of the Board for Diakonia, a non-profit Emergency and Transitional Housing Service located in Ocean City, Maryland.
